There are quite a few guitar shops who have websites what you can buy stuff from these days. I must admit I never actually use them because I'm unemployed and have no money, but there are a few that I nevertheless have bookedmarked as they're well-designed and pretty user friendly.
One such place is Dawsons, but this is not an advert for them because... well... it isn't, it's a guy posting to his blog. But I digress, the main reason why I'm mentioning this place is because they have some pretty decent competitions, which when most comps are still US-based and open only to US citizens is pretty damn good. I figure if I enter enough of them I'll actually win something eventually too.
